Purchase order / Work order
In Compass, purchase order/work order feature simplifies operational and maintenance tasks. It creates, tracks, and manages purchase orders for operational needs and work orders for maintenance tasks. This module is interlinked with the fund request in the accounting module. Additionally, our bidding feature of the PO/WO processes by sending quotations to multiple suppliers and includes a chat box for comments.
Technical specifications
Each element includes a tick box for easy linkage with purchase orders or work orders integration. Maintenance Schedules and Alerts are integrated maintenance schedules with time tracking and warning notifications keeping track of equipment. Quantity forms provide a clear overview of inventory levels for efficient stock management. Spares Management includes attaching PDF files to all spares, detailing their location and quantity. User access controls and ranking systems ensure appropriate approvals are obtained for critical actions. Configuration of critical and mandatory equipment for automated notifications, linking schedules, timing, and warnings. Linking logs, repairs, and changes to regular and irregular maintenance tasks, providing a full maintenance history.
Drawings
Access all original drawings of the vessel which are transferable to purchase orders or work orders as a pinpoint to be visible for history/logs purposes.
Inventory
Categories of this inventory feature include deck, interior, bilge and engineering parts, interconnected with vessel drawings and locations marked for visual reference. Additionally, interlinked with ISM module for ISM inventory.
Critical systems
Operate critical equipment live, complete with a LIVE risk assessment that can be converted into a PDF file. Access equipment details from the technical specification via dedicated buttons, transitioning to critical system or inventory lists within the software interface. Maintain a primary and mandatory maintenance equipment list oversight. Spares for critical equipment are available with their allocation based on detailed drawings, locations, and account records.
Yacht maintenance logs / repairs / upgrades
Maintenance activities with a single interface featuring: Dropdown menus for logs, repairs, and upgrades.
Upload drafts, drawings, and updates with a dialogue box. Structured forms for supplier service reports, invoice history and transaction records. Integrated memory for purchase orders/work orders, simplifying expense and task tracking. Official live engine room logbook and crew member details for regulatory compliance and task assignment.
Flag / Class surveys
Manage flag/class surveys and works lists, including 1-year, intermediate, and 5-year surveys, along with LIVE updates for winter works, all through a unified form.
Spare parts
Manage spare parts with a main folder collecting information from the technical specifications, linking to the total form. Populate and display spare parts lists by element (e.g., engine) and total spare parts list.
Planned Maintenance System (PMS)
Two types of maintenance schedules – regular and unregular – in the system. Regular maintenance is facilitated through notifications based on pre-set warning dates/hours, visible on the dashboard as mandatory scheduled maintenance tasks. Unregular maintenance is handled through forms, such as the Yacht logs tip.
